Project Description
Al Adhawaa Metro Station is one of the significant stations along Gold Line Underground, located near Doha downtown. The station gives extra convenience to the commuting expats with its strategic location in Al Adhawaa neighborhood which is one of the most populated community in Doha where many of the expats are residing.
Hydroserv was contracted to undertake dewatering works for this station to allow a deep excavation works for the construction of an exemplary architectural station design with cosy spacious interior and lightings which gives a vibrant positive feels to the commuters.
The Al Adhawaa Station excavated up to 30m deep with a dewatering system installed consisting of 38 deep wells with a flow capacity of 200l/s looped to a water treatment system to deal with high chloroforms encountered at site and directly connected to an over pumping system for the treated underground water discharge.
