Scope of Work:
- Pump Test to assess hydrogeological data.
- Design of dewatering and water treatment system including 3D modelling.
- Method Statement and Risk Assessment.
- Installation and operation of complete dewatering and overpumping system.
Equipment:
- Drilling 80 no. Deep Well.
- Installing 100 no. Electrical Pumps and associated electrical controls.
- 10 km High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Pipe Works.
- Generators 20 no. – 200 kva to 600 kva – Sound attenuated.
- Sedimentation Lagoon.
Project Description
Hydroserv been a part of the construction dewatering for Lusail City’s major package in infrastructure development, Package CP07C-1C of Commercial Boulevard for Car parks and Tunnel project.
Hydroserv undertook the major dewatering works, pump testing to further assessed hydrogeological site data, 3D modelling design approach, 620 l/s over pumping to a kilometer discharge and groundwater treatment in the project.
A hybrid dewatering system was installed with deep well system consisting of 80 wells and 20 sump pumps to allow a continues excavation and foundation works in a safe, dry and stable working condition.
